Hello everyone! I hope you are all having a wonderful Lord’s day! I’ve been super busy!
I’m teaching the Book of Revelation to one of my Facebook groups (and will be leading an offline Bible study through it as well…I was just asked the other night), but also I’m designing a set of digital planners to sell in my Etsy shop. They are all the rage in the ‘planner universe’ but also, mine will have a Christian theme for those of us who are believers and strive to keep that at the forefront of our lives. I really wish I could just give them away, but I’m in desperate need to raise a little money for denture work and Christmas. I’m just a poor mom and housewife in north central Ohio 🙂
I missed doing my End of the Age Updates last week due to my son being sick with a nasty bug (then my husband and I getting it as well) and working on my Revelation lessons and digital planners. Wow it’s September already! Where did the summer go? Are you all getting settled back into your fall (almost) schedules? My cold-weather season Bible study is about to start back up next week and I’m really looking forward to that! It’s a study my son and hubby can attend with me. In the warm-weather months, I attend a small women’s Bible study that meets at a friend’s house. I love gathering together with other believers! Pastor J.D. is back this week and I know we all missed his prophecy update last week, but I’m very glad he and his church there on Oahu are safe after Hurricane/Tropical storm Lane went through there! Hi everyone! I hope you all are having a great weekend 🙂 It’s a rough day for me as I just lost a tooth which has left me not wanting to be seen in public due to, but I’m trying to swallow my pride and just be humble about it as I wait to get in to the dentist (not till April 10th! eeks!!). It’s going to be a long three weeks! (prayers appreciated!!)
But there are more intense things happening in our world than my lost tooth. Let’s get to that now —>

This week’s Mindful Monday devotional is very near and dear to my heart. The devotional is given by Anne Graham Lotz. You may know her best as the daughter of Billy Graham. As many of my readers and those who know me are aware, the Rapture and Bible prophecy as a whole is a calling of mine, and has been since a few years before I gave my heart to Christ when I was a senior in high school. Both of my grandfathers were pastors so I grew up in my mom’s dad’s church in my early years. The closest I became aware of what the end times were back then was from singing the song, “I’ll Fly Away.” As a child, I just thought the song was about the time of our deaths.

Also, in hopes of reaching those fence-sitters who need to fall over to the side of Christ in time! Hello everyone! I hope you are all well, especially all of you in Texas and those of whom like me, have family and/or friends in the areas affected by Hurricane Harvey. What a traumatic week we in the US have had this week! That’s not to say that those outside the US haven’t been through a great deal as well, as our prophecy updates for this week will show.
In light of Hurricane Harvey (and Hurricane Irma brewing in the Atlantic), I encourage you to take a look at Bill Koenig’s book, “Eye to Eye: Facing the Consequences of Dividing Israel”. Also, if you are in a position to help those who were badly affected by Hurricane Harvey, I encourage you to visit the SAMARITAN’S PURSE website and make a donation to help. The Rapture MIGHT happen Monday during the eclipse! Don’t sneer –it just MIGHT 🙂
It might happen in my next breath. It might happen Tuesday or in September or two Septembers from now. The point is, it could happen ANY time. BE and STAY ready!
Just my two cents for those concerned that the Rapture will occur on Monday, during the eclipse:
We need to live every day as if Christ is returning that very day. No day should be less important to us than the one we are in right now. We are to watch, It could happen today or any day, but we cannot know the very day and hour. God gave us all the prophecy we need in the Bible. Any extra-Biblical prophecy isn’t necessary. He gave us enough. The point is: BE Ready!! STAY Ready!!
We can’t know WHEN EXACTLY it will happen, but it will happen! Be ready each and every day as if it will happen this very day because it just might!
It’s awesome to watch (Jesus told us to!!) BUT don’t pronounce that any given day will be THE day it will happen. Why? If the day you expect it to occur doesn’t happen, you will become discouraged (exactly what the enemy wants) and you will give the world a very bad testimony of Christians (again -the goal of the enemy). It’s enough that some unbelievers joke that those of us who believe in Bible prophecy are “tin-hat wearing” paranoid people (and worse). Don’t give them the ammunition!
Make sure you are ready to meet the Lord every day.
Make sure those around know have heard the gospel (good news)
Be loving and wise to have a good testimony to all.
We can’t know the DAY and the HOUR:
“But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father. Take ye heed, watch and pray: for ye know not when the time is.” –Mark 13:32-33
Still we will know the SEASON, otherwise Jesus would not have told us to WATCH:
“Therefore keep watch, because you do not know on what day your Lord will come.” –Matt. 24:42
We will not be in darkness referring to the Day of the Lord:
“Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,”destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief.”
