February 2022 Doodle Challenge -Love

February 2022 Doodle Challenge headerThe monthly Doodle challenge has become more popular of late, so I made sure to get it up this month 🙂  There are lots of really great creative people in my Facebook group and I love to see their art!

This month is the month of “love”, so that’s our theme for this month.

Let’s see those doodles!  If you are in my Facebook group, please post your daily doodles there so we can be inspired!

Why do we doodle? Doodling simple things helps you to develop your drawing skills, which helps you increase your Bible art journaling skills. It also increases your hand/eye coordination which helps in many areas of life!

This challenge is participated in by the members of my Facebook group, Christian Planner, Journal, and Craft Fellowship and any of you who would like to join us! You can join us in the group or join along on Instagram.

I usually print these out on 28 pound white paper (or 32 pound paper is even better) and just stick them right into my planner or journal. The heavier the paper, the less chance it will tear out of your binder or planner by accident and helps resist bleeding or ghosting from your pens or markers. It helps the page turn easier too.

For planner stickers, etc:  If you choose to print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paper. I use these here. They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs. If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear vinyl ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down. Honestly, the sticker paper is the most economical  way, however for everyday planning stickers. Regardless of the type.

Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers? Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did several years ago. They have different plans, but the one I’m in is the plan that lets me print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $11 per month. That’s regardless of the amount of ink on the page.  I love printing out pictures on photo paper.  I fit 4 4×6-inch photos on one sheet of photo paper.  Imagine the amount of photos you can print at four pages per one page and the cost is the same for a full page of photo ink as it is for one dot.  It goes by the page, not the amount of ink!  You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things. Doodle Challenge for February 2020 – Love

February 2020 doodle challenge

The doodle challenge was a big hit in January and my group couldn’t wait for this to be posted 🙂  This month’s theme is, (as expected): Love 🙂  I added a few faith components at the end, but for the most part, these doodles are traditionally Valentine’s-day themed.  That seems what people really wanted, so I’m giving you what you asked for 🙂

I can’t wait to see your interpretations!

Doodle Challenge for April 2019 -Easter and Spring!

April 2019 Doodle Challenge

I’m playing catch up today getting my groups and blogs ready for April. Wow, where did the month of March go??  Well I was pretty distracted with my husband in the hospital again, but it still seemed to fly by.

This month is the most important time of year for a Christian. The holiday some call Easter and some call Resurrection Day.  Either way, in the life of a believer in Jesus, it’s all about celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  No other “religious” leader has been resurrected from the dead to live forever more to intercede at the right hand of God for those who trust Him for salvation and eternal life.

That’s what this month’s doodle is about, of course!
