Freebie Friday – Candy Christmas Printable Planner Stickers

Freebie Friday Candy Christmas Printable Planner Stickers

This week’s Freebie Friday almost didn’t happen 🙂  With the craziness of preparing for Thanksgiving, I didn’t prepare a freebie for you.  Fortunately, unlike thousands of crazy Black Friday shoppers, I had a quiet day at home and got some things done earlier and decided to throw something together for our Freebie Friday.  It’s not the fanciest set, but I think it will be cute used on a Christmas layout 🙂

Please let me know in the comments below if you use these! I’d love to hear and/or see 🙂

These are sized for the brand new Happy Planner classic.

Print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paper.  I use these here.  They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs.  If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down.  Honestly, the sticker paper is the best way, however. Regardless of the type.

If you’d like this printable, click on the image below to pull up the full-sized PDF file for printing.  If you use this kit, I would LOVE to see how you use it! Please comment below so I can see ?

Please remember this is for PERSONAL USE ONLY!

Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers?  Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did a year and a half ago.  They have different plans, but the one I’m in (the most pages) is that I can print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $9.99 per month. You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things.  Click on the image here to check it out! –>

Scripture Writing Plan for December 2017

Scripture Writing Plan for December 2017

This month I posted a poll in my Facebook group, Christian Planner Journal and Craft Fellowship asking them to choose one of three options for this month’s scripture writing plan. The winner by a large margin was “Peace, Joy, and Praise”.  So I took that and worked in Christmas passages and the result is this month’s scripture writing plan 🙂  The first half of the month I focused on verses regarding peace, joy, and praise; and the last half of the month on verses about Christmas.  Christmas is a Christian’s most joyous time of the year (along with Easter) because that’s when we recognize and celebrate the Savior of the world, Jesus Christ! Now of course we know Jesus was not born on December 25th. However, that’s the day of the year (season for many of us) that we set aside to keep the Coming of the Messiah of the world in our thoughts and praises, thanking Him for coming to earth to save us all from our sins and the resulting consequence of those sins:  eternal separation from the Father, God.  What more object of adoration and praise can there ever be?? 🙂

I’m a big kid at Christmas. Always have been, and I try every year to focus more on the true Reason for the season and less on all the commercial stuff.

My Facebook group, Christian Planner Journal and Craft Fellowship and I enjoy doing these monthly plans together and discussing it each month.  I hope you enjoy these monthly scripture writing plans and use them to grow closer to our Lord as a result! I’d love to hear from those who are using it in the comments below!

Mindful Monday Devotion: Abide and Keep Your Eyes on the Prize

Mindful Monday Devotional -Abide

Are you like so many other believers in this world who are feeling downhearted with all that’s going on in the world today?  All that you and/or your family is going through?

We know that in the END we win, if we belong to Christ and that gives us great comfort, but what do we do in the here and now when things seem to be attacking at every turn?

Lately the Lord has been giving me one word:  Abide.

Sometimes we just are not in control of what happens to us. We pray and we try to learn to trust and as we pray it through and try to roll it off our backs, we sometimes feel like there’s SOMETHING we should be doing to fix things. Well, sometimes that may be true, but often it may just be that the Lord is using the PROCESS of what’s happening in our lives to teach us; to build something in us that makes us the people He wants us to be for eternity.

This life isn’t all there is! I like to think of it as a training ground for eternity.  Eternity isn’t just floating around on a white fluffy cloud playing a harp.  We will be working, playing, rejoicing…there will be plenty to do! Did you know that the Bible tells us that we will judge angels?  We will judge the nations alongside Christ!  There’s a lot to do there!  We will still be who we are now, just glorified versions of ourselves!  We will be trusting in Christ and our Father, we will know patience and hope and love in a more deep, richer, more profound way than we know here in this fallen world.  That isn’t just a robe we put on when we cross to the other side…we start learning those virtues right here! I have learned over the years with all that’s happened with my family that sorrow and trials are never wasted.  The Lord uses them to teach us and mold us into the sons and daughters of the King!

At times, I think the Lord wants us to just…   “Be still and know that (He) is God”:

“He says, “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.””  -Psalm 46:10 (NIV)

What does just being still look like?  I think it’s one word:  Abide.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.” – John 15:7 (NKJV)

Sometimes we have to stop racing around and striving and driving ourselves crazy and learn to BE STILL…and ABIDE.  We just continue to run the race…not in a competetive way to beat this person or that person, but to be keeping our eyes on the prize so we don’t become distracted.  Like a race horse with blinders on…he doesn’t seem to worry about where he’ll end up.  He can only see straight ahead of him and his only concern is to keep going straight ahead knowing he will receive a reward at the end of the race.  He can only see straight ahead, he doesn’t look at the other horses to his left or his right. It isn’t a race to beat the other horses to him. He just obeys his rider and looks straight ahead and pushes on.

So my words for today…well GOD’s words to me today to share with you are

“ABIDE” and “KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE”

“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.  Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” -Philippians 3:12-14

Won’t you abide with Him…with me? 🙂

May you have a blessed, productive, yet STILL week 🙂

Still in His grip,

Helen

Freebie Friday -Christmas Nativity Planner Printables

Freebie Friday free printable planner stickers -Christmas Nativity

I’ve shared three Thanksgiving freebie planner printables already, so its time for Christmas! Yay!  I won’t decorate my house for Christmas till Thanksgiving Day evening (because I love Christmas so much I don’t want to get tired of it before the season really starts) but I will make planner items for Christmas.  Plans are often made well ahead of time, and especially Christmas plans, right? 🙂

This week I am focusing on the true reason for Christmas -Christ!  And you Christian Michigan State Fans (like my niece, Crissy) should like these too 🙂 (I’m an Ohio State alumni though…GO BUCKEYES! woot woot! bwahahaha)

“Creative You” Planner Stickers and Stamps at Walmart

"Creative You" Planner products at Walmart

I’ve been telling my Facebook group that I would make a flip-through video of the new “Creative You” planner/journaling products available at Walmart.  I finally did the video today!

The price on this line is great! Each sticker pack I reviewed in the video below was less than $3. (I think the stamp set was around the same price, but don’t remember for sure).

Please overlook my lightly issue in this video.  The best lighting in our house is in the kitchen by the sliding glass door and my husband and son were home, so not the best time to shoot a video in the kitchen. I did this in my craft room with the normal lighting and an Ott-Lite  that’s great for working on crafts and sewing up close, but not so great for shooting videos 🙂

If you want to see just a close-up of the stickers and stamps with less chat, fast forward to the 19:25 mark.

Also, please give me a thumbs up and consider subscribing to my channel.  I’m pretty new to my own channel on YouTube and am improving all the time. Enjoy!  —>

Mindful Moday Devotional – Just Stand

Ephesians 6_13

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes.  For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.  Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.  Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,  and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.  In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.  Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.”  – Ephesians 6:10-17

Its been a really busy weekend for me, so this week I’m just going to share some videos and scripture that’s on my heart and hope that it encourages you and helps you to remember that when you’ve prayed your hardest, done all you can in your own strength, we need to “just stand” and trust the Lord to take over.  If you’re in that place too, this is for you…  God bless!

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” – Matthew 6:33
