November 2022 Scripture Writing Plan -Thankfulness

November 2022 scripture writing plan header

Hello friends!

I hope you are all well and having a great fall season!

I’ve been super busy de-hoarding our downstairs and now our garage.  As some of you may remember, I lost my husband three years ago (boy it sure doesn’t feel like that long) and he was quite the hoarder.  I’m telling ya, our two car garage was filled right to both doors with boxes and whatnot. When I began you couldn’t even step one foot in the door of either bay because a box would smack you in the face.

I’m bound and determined to get the whole thing finished before the colder weather sets in.  I’m in north central Ohio, and it’s usually starting to snow by Thanksgiving.  It’s a LOT of work and I’m just about on a first-name basis with the workers at the thrift store I’m donating to. I’m on my sixth van full right now.  Also, I hope my garbage person still likes me after the pile I left him/her last week and this week!  But it feels so good to get this under control!  It took me three years since his death to be able to emotionally attack this, but the time is finally now.

I’m hitting moments of sentimentality I’m fighting against and I’ve found that if I come upon pictures, mementos, etc., I put them all in a box to go through later so I can get some boxes gone through and moved out of the garage.

I’m trying to remember when I see something that had belonged to my husband and I start to grieve losing him, I try to be thankful for the 20 years we had together (2 years dating, 18 years married) .

Speaking of thankfulness, as I do every November, I’m offering you the theme of Thankfulness for our November scripture writing plan.  Use it to draw nearer to the Lord and be mindful of all He’s done and continues to do for us!

I usually print these out on 28 pound white paper (or 32 pound paper is even better) and just stick them right into my planner or journal. The heavier the paper, the less chance it will tear out of your binder or planner by accident and helps resist bleeding or ghosting from your pens or markers. It helps the page turn easier too. If you choose to print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paper. I use these here. They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs. If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down. Honestly, the sticker paper is the best way, however. Regardless of the type. Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers? Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did a year and a half ago. They have different plans, but the one I’m in (the most pages) is that I can print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $9.99 per month. You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things. Click on the image here to check it out! –>HP Instant Ink
