April 2022 Scripture Writing Plan -Resurrection

April 2022 Scripture Writing Plan HeaderHello everyone 🙂  I hope you all have had a great month of March. So much has happened in just the past month in this world, hasn’t it?  It’s enough to make your head spin!

I prayed about what topic the Lord would have us use as our scripture writing plan for April and kept getting “resurrection”.  Not just because it’s the month we celebrate Easter/Resurrection Day this year, but to remind us that just as Jesus was resurrected, we too will be resurrected one day.

If you are a believer, we will be resurrected to eternal life, and if you are not a believer in Jesus as your Lord and savior resurrected to…well…eternal separation from God by death and hell, quite honestly as taught in the Bible.  If you aren’t sure which camp you fall into check here.

Speaking of the Bible, let’s learn what it says about our theme of  Resurrection 🙂

I usually print these out on 28 pound white paper (or 32 pound paper is even better) and just stick them right into my planner or journal. The heavier the paper, the less chance it will tear out of your binder or planner by accident and helps resist bleeding or ghosting from your pens or markers. It helps the page turn easier too.

For planner stickers, etc:  If you choose to print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paperI use these here. They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs. If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear vinyl ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down. Honestly, the sticker paper is the most economical  way, however for everyday planning stickers. Regardless of the type.

Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers? Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did several years ago. They have different plans, but the one I’m in is the plan that lets me print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $11 per month. That’s regardless of the amount of ink on the page.  I love printing out pictures on photo paper.  I fit 4 4×6-inch photos on one sheet of photo paper.  Imagine the amount of photos you can print at four pages per one page and the cost is the same for a full page of photo ink as it is for one dot.  It goes by the page, not the amount of ink!  You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things. March 2022 Scripture Writing Plan -Fear

March 2022 scripture writing plan header

Hi everyone!  Welcome to another month and to a brand new scripture writing plan. I decided to use the theme of fear again this month (a repeat of a few years ago).  I feel like it’s a healthy plan for us at a time when so much fear has gripped the world.  We still have a pandemic with it’s variants flooding over the world and now wars and rumors of wars have increased.  Russia invading Ukraine, China and Taiwan, North Korea saber rattling…  There’s a lot to be fearful over.

But God.

But we have a God who is always in control and Who wasn’t taken by surprise by any of this.  These passages will remind us of that daily when we work this plan faithfully this month.

February 2022 Scripture Writing Plan -Affection

February 2022 Scripture Writing plan headerHello everyone!  I hope you all are well and are surviving January and everything going on in the world. So many of my friends and loved ones have endured Covid or one of it’s variants. A lady from church passed away from it,  a childhood neighbor passed away, others have developed Covid pneumonia.  My son and I had Covid in August and I had Covid pneumonia.  I wouldn’t wish it on my worst enemy!

All the mandates, lockdowns, etc that has never happened before in our lifetimes have so many of us scared and nervous to go to church or most places in public.

God gives us wisdom and watches over us. I really think He guides and directs us to make the decisions for ourselves and those we care for.  Some people are adamant mask wearers and jab receivers, others do tons of research and reach the opinions against the jab and/or masks.

I think we all need to be reminded to love each other regardless of our decisions in all of this.  That brings me to February’s scripture writing plan:  Affection.  We are called to love one another above all else.  Romans 12:10 tells us, “Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor.”

November 2021 Scripture Writing Plan-Thankfulness

November 2021 scripture writing plan header

Hello everyone 🙂  In full disclosure, this November 2021 scripture writing plan is a repeat of a few years ago as I’ve been running behind due to the recent passing of my mom. I think thankfulness should be revisited every year anyway though, don’t you?

My mom went to be with the Lord on October 15th. Her funeral was this past Friday…

A more righteous, loving, Godly woman would be hard to find.  I’ll post more about that later in my Ponderings of my Predicaments section I hope to pick back up.  It’s still too raw for me to pour my heart out about at the moment :'(

It’s only been two years since my husband passed and even though I know they both received Christ’s gift of salvation, losing them both so close together has been very difficult for me.

I had a good plan for posting on a 2-3 times per week schedule ,but with mom’s passing (Alzheimer’s) that put a damper on that, of course.  I have been creating and listing a LOT in my Etsy shop for you, prior to mom’s passing, and have been creating a lot to distract myself in staying busy since.

So, I know you will understand if I get right to it.  Here is our November, 2021 scripture writing plan.

October 2021 Scripture Writing Plan-Endurance

October 2021 scripture writing plan header

Hello family, I hope you had a great September!  Here we have our October scripture writing plan.

For those asking, I am feeling much better after my bout with Covid and Covid pneumonia.  I still get a little winded when doing some things, but I’m sure that will resolve itself in time.

I’ve been hearing from others who say it took them 2-4 months to get back to “normal”.  So I guess I’m in good company.  I’m trying to be as productive as I can, but lately it’s been more busyness on my laptop.

I’ ve been creating a LOT of planner stickers and you can find them in my Etsy shop here.  But  I just finished 2-3 weeks of creating six colors of digital planners for 2022.  Wow was that a LOT of work, but I hope to have some purchases of them to help my son and I get by.  I’m not a wife anymore, but I think I should continue on in my efforts to be a Proverbs 31 woman, and she is a business woman if you read that passage.  I would so covet your prayers for success in my business efforts! September 2021 Scripture Writing Plan – God’s Faithfulness

September 2021 Scripture Writing Plan HeaderThe theme for the September, 2021 scripture writing plan was really clear to me.  I’ve been through a lot this month and God’s faithfulness has been evident during every step.

Like many others, my son and I developed Covid-19.  My son had a mild case of it  (praise Jesus), but it really hit me like a ton of bricks.  I had every symptom listed on the CDC’s web site other than loss of taste.  I had the rest of it.  I was in the hospital for two days on oxygen, an IV with strong antibiotics and steroids. The main reason for the hospitalization was that I’d developed Covid pneumonia.

The infectious disease doctor released me at the perfect time.  My main concern had been the welfare of my son while I was hospitalized and one of my best friends stepped in and took good care of him. I was released last Sunday afternoon, in time for my friend to be able to go to work the next day without worrying about Evan.  I can’t thank Angie enough for her great care of Evan and she even did some housework for me while I was gone <3

August 2021 Scripture Writing Plan – Harvest and Completion

August 2021 scripture writing planHello family of God 🙂  I hope you’ve all had a great summer so far!  I’ve been SUPER busy revamping my Etsy shop after opening it back up after a two year hiatus (I closed it when my husband went to be with Jesus almost two years ago).  I’ve added a LOT of new printable planner stickers lately and have kept really busy letting all those pent-up creative juices flow 🙂 I just created a new header for the scripture writing posts too. It was time for a change 🙂  If you haven’t been there in a while (or never) why don’t you visit and give it a look-see if you are a planner girl/guy like me. I’m taking a break, however, to get this August 2021 scripture writing plan out to you all.

But onto our scripture writing plan for August.

It seems to me like a LOT more people are studying or listening or asking around about Bible prophecy (last days events) than ever before.  With so much going on in our world with pandemics, shots or no shots, masks or no masks, the growing threat in the middle east and Russia, Iran and others; you’d be in the minority if you haven’t been at least thinking about it.

I’ve been a Bible prophecy nerd student since I was a teenager (and that was many moons ago 🙂  ) In light of all this, I remembered a scripture writing plan I’d posted a few years ago in the fall, “Harvest and Completion”. I decided to pull it out and brush the dust off and post it again for August.

I was reviewing a web page that lists the harvest cycles for Israel and when I saw that July and August is the harvest for figs and olives it settled it in my mind to reshare it.  After all, Jesus said that when the fig tree blossoms to look for His coming.  Of course, serious Bible students knows that the fig tree has always been the symbol of the nation of Israel, which “blossomed” when it became a nation in 1948.  We are getting to the end of the generation.  For more on the parable of the fig tree visit this site.

Ok, Helen, enough gabbing, get on with the August, 2021 scripture writing plan 🙂

July 2021 Scripture Writing Plan – Freedom and Liberty

July 2021 scripture writing plan headerHi everyone!  I hope you are off to a great start for your summer of 2021.

I asked the members of my Christian Planner, Journal, and Craft Fellowship Facebook group what they would like to have as a theme for this month’s scripting writing.  The majority seemed to want “Freedom”.  That made good sense to me because the holiday most celebrated in July (other than my birthday hehe) is Independence Day (aka The Fourth of July) here in the U.S.

We as believers should reflect that our true freedom comes in the freedom bought and paid for by Christ on the cross.

So here are 31 Bible passages to reflect on each day to that end 🙂
