November 2019 Scripture Writing Plan -Thankfulness

November 2019 scripture writing plan header

I’m so sorry I got this posted at nearly the last minute while it’s still October. This is probably the latest I’ve gotten a scripture writing plan posted and I hope you’ll forgive that.  The month of October really got away from me. You should see my calendar for this month. It’s full of one appointment after the next after the next. There’s so much to be done after the death of a spouse, and add being the only parent (now) of a child with special needs, and doctor and dentist appointments for us both that had been rescheduled while trying to save my husband’s life and the month was just crazy.

It was really busy at times, and the down times we did have was very emotional for me, in missing my husband. Evenings when we would normally watch TV together is the toughest time for me. My son’s care that we used to share is all on me now and I’m adjusting to that too.

I’m thankful for my sweet son though, and for the many things the Lord has done to bring me through the pain, trials, and provision and remains to do so.  So being the month of Thanksgiving, I wanted to continue the tradition of being thankful with our scripture writing plan.

As most of my readers know, we have a special needs son with autism (non-verbal) and now as a widow, he and I can use all the help we can get till the dust settles, so I’m leaving up the GO FUND ME PAGE loving people have given generously to throughout his cancer treatment days.

I sold all the rest of my husband’s pinball machines to raise enough money for his funeral expenses, but I still need to buy him a grave stone :'(

I had my appointment with social security a few days ago and applied for my husband’s benefits. I won’t hear a decision on that for 3-6 months and I have to make due for that period of time with the income my son and I have until it is (hopefully) approved.  Things are INSANELY tight…  We can use any help we can get between then and now…

Please help us

This month is about thankfulness as I think we all need reminded of the need to be thankful firstly to our Lord God Almighty. Those of us who 2019 was particularly difficult for, I think we especially need to be mindful of the need to be thankful. Yes, God allowed some very difficult things into our lives this year, but how many things in our lives has He allowed for our good that we don’t give Him credit for? Things for which we neglect to remember and acknowledge Who was behind all those good things?

I am so thankful that my husband knew Christ as his savior when he went Home to glory.

I usually print these out on 28 pound white paper (or 32 pound paper is even better) and just stick them right into my planner or journal. The heavier the paper, the less chance it will tear out of your binder or planner by accident and helps resist bleeding or ghosting from your pens or markers. It helps the page turn easier too. If you choose to print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paper. I use these here. They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs. If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down. Honestly, the sticker paper is the best way, however. Regardless of the type. Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers? Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did a year and a half ago. They have different plans, but the one I’m in (the most pages) is that I can print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $9.99 per month. You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things. Click on the image here to check it out! –>HP Instant Ink
