September 2020 Scripture Writing Plan -Repentance

September 2020 Scripture Writing Plan header

After some time with the Lord, I felt impressed to have our theme this month be Repentance.  I think with all the trials our world is going through right now and how quickly so much is casting a shadow on prophecy/end times events it’s a good idea for us to go back to the basics and refresh our knowledge of repentance and consider our

August 2020 Scripture Writing Plan -We Win!

August 2020 scripture writing plan header

Here’s the August, 2020 Scripture Writing plan  This month I chose “We Win!” as the theme. I think in light of all the discouragement surrounding this second wave of mask mandates due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we all can use the great reminder that this is not all there is, and one day we will win! Christ is the Victory and if we are in Him, we have that victory  Continue reading

July 2020 Scripture Writing Plan -Spiritual Warfare

July 2020 scripture writing plan

This month I had a few requests for a scripture writing plan theme of “Spiritual Warfare”.

With all that’s going on in the world with Covid-19 and the riots, both of which have taken over the planet, I thought, “What better time for a spiritual warfare theme”?  We need to undergird ourselves with scripture and be ready to face the world’s battles in a Godly way.

June 2020 Scripture Writing Plan

June 2020 scripture writing plan header

For those wondering what happened to the June scripture writing plan, there’s nothing wrong with your device 🙂  In my pursuit of transitioning from a wife and mom to a single widowed mom, I got behind on everything and didn’t get it posted to my blog. (sorry!)

I did get it done and posted to my facebook group and my Facebook page, but didn’t get it uploaded to my blog.  If this ever happens again (and I’m going to try to not let it happen again), refer to my Facebook page to see if it’s posted there.

May 2020 Scripture Writing Plan – Freedom from Fear!

May Scripture Writing Plan header

UPDATE:

May scripture writing plan day 1 should be JOHN 14:26-27, not 1 John 🙂 Sorry 🙂

Hello friends,

I hope you all find this in time to begin tomorrow! I’ve been SO busy making and distributing masks for those in need of them during this Covid-19 pandemic I haven’t had time to think 🙂

For Aprils, I had tried for DAYS to get my posts for April posted to the blog and finally gave up till now when it’s time to get the May scripture writing plan up on the blog. I’m praying this gets uploaded so I can get us caught up! 🙂

Every time I tried to log in to my blog the hourglass just kept spinning. It just kept trying and would time out every single time.  I suspect the internet was just too inundated with everyone home online since all the Covid-19 pandemic shut downs.  So many people were at home and online.

In fact, I hope THIS posts! 🙂  I think I’ll stop with the chit chat for now and get it posted before it freezes up again! lol

I asked my Facebook group, Christian Planner, Journal, and Craft Fellowship what they would like to have as the theme for May and this seemed to be the majority vote. I agree! With all that’s going on with the Covid-19 pandemic, we need this reminder!

God bless and have a great May!

I usually print these out on 28 pound white paper (or 32 pound paper is even better) and just stick them right into my planner or journal. The heavier the paper, the less chance it will tear out of your binder or planner by accident and helps resist bleeding or ghosting from your pens or markers. It helps the page turn easier too.

If you choose to print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paper. I use these here. They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs. If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down. Honestly, the sticker paper is the best way, however. Regardless of the type.

Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers? Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did a year and a half ago. They have different plans, but the one I’m in (the most pages) is that I can print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $9.99 per month. You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things. Click on the image here to check it out! –>

April 2020 Scripture Writing Plan – Security

April Scripture Writing Plan header

Hello friends,

First I want to apologize for not getting the April scripture writing plan posted. It wasnt’ my fault, honest! 🙂  I tried for DAYS and finally gave up till now when it’s time to get the May scripture writing plan up on the blog.

It seemed we could all use all the security we can get right now with all that’s going on in the world, so I chose SECURITY for the word of April.

Once this posts, I’m going to try to get May’s up to you, if the powers that be allow me to 🙂  God bless and have a great May!

March 2020 Scripture Writing Plan -Perseverence

This month’s scripture writing plan is about perseverance.  I asked my Facebook group what plan topics they would like and perseverence was one of the most suggested. I think it’s timely, too as so many are struggling to stay with their New Year Resolutions and Lent just began today. In my case I’m working on trying to stay with my efforts to lose weight. I swam a mile at the Y day before yesterday and a little more than half a mile yesterday because my back and shoulder were bothering me from the day before, so I’m trying to be mindful of trying to persevere with it (especially when the scale doesn’t show what I think I deserve).

February 2020 Scripture Writing Plan -Love

February 2020 Scripture Writing Plan

Hi everyone!

Time for a new scripture writing plan for us 🙂  I asked my Facebook group about the theme for this month and it seemed like love is still the topic for a February challenge. I got lots of other great ideas and I did make note of those for future plans, so if you are one of those who chose other topics, know it will come around eventually 🙂

For those of us coming through a really tough time, we need to be reminded of the love of God and the power of that love.  God’s love is so transformative and with all the onslaughts of the world, the cares of life,  and the enemy in our lives, we need to stay reminded that God’s love will bring us through anything. I for one, need a month of love reminders 🙂

January 2020 Scripture Writing Plan -A New Start Done Right!

January 2020 scripture writing plan header

I hope you all are having an amazing holiday season!

This is a difficult one for my son and I, being the first since losing my husband, but God has been SO amazingly good and faithful to us thorugh it all. I’m so thankful for friends and family for their love and support.  I’m very thankful also for a few churches and organizations that rallied around us and got Evan a huge bounty of Christmas gifts! What a true blessing.

I had my share of emotional breakdowns, and my son’s IEP meeting made me realize he is affected by his daddy’s death more than I’d thought.  He’s really smart and is doing great in school ,but there are a few areas he usually does great in that have decreased a bit.  I so wish he could talk to tell me what he’s thinking and feeling.  But he gets his point across in the immediate things and he clings to me and is so loving. He’s the greatest blessing in my life second only to our Savior, Jesus.

I really tried to focus on the true meaning for why we have Christmas at all. It’s all about Him!  I’ll post more about what’s happening in a future post under my Ponderings of My Predicaments category.  I’m really planning on being a lot more present with my blogging and Facebook groups than I have been since all the tragedy arose.

We are just about in a brand new year, and I don’t know about you, but I am MORE than looking forward to kissing 2019 goodbye and leaving it in the dust.

I just created our scripture writing plan for January, and it’s all about how to get a fresh start done right!

December 2019 Scripture Writing Plan -Prophecies Fulfilled by Christ’s First Coming

December 2019 scripture writing plan header

This month I decided to do a poll in my Facebook group, Christian Planner, Journal, and Craft Fellowship and allow them to choose the topic for this month’s scripture writing plan.  By very popular demand, the majority of them chose, “Prophecies Fulfilled by Christ’s First Coming”.  I think it’s perfect because it helps us learn the portions of the old testament that has the prophecies stated and the new testament that shows it’s fulfillment!

I hope you will enjoy learning more about the various prophecies Jesus fulfilled.  This is just a sampling of them. There are many more! I encourage you to spend some time in the Word of God and learn them for yourself 🙂

Thank you, all of you who are praying for my son and I after the passing of my husband in September.  The holidays being upon us is very difficult without him. Our anniversary is on December 1st, and his birthday is on Christmas Day, so December is a very trying month this year for sure 🙁   But I trust the Lord and His faithfulness to guide my son and I into a new normal and I look forward to what he has ahead for us as we remember all the wonderful memories spent with Greg.

Being a new widow is very emotional, I won’t lie.  Your continued prayers are very appreciated!  God bless you all this Christmas season <3
