Doodle Challenge for May 2019 -Things We Experience

May 2019 doodle challenge banner
I decided to change things up a bit this month 🙂  Instead of telling you WHAT to doodle, I’m making you decide what to doodle according to the idea of the day.  Let’s see what you come up with!

This challenge is participated in by the members of my Facebook group, Christian Planner, Journal, and Craft Fellowship and any of you who would like to join us! You can join us in the group or join along on Instagram.

Why do we doodle? Doodling helps improve our drawing skills so we can improve our Bible art journaling pages!

I usually print these out on 28 pound white paper (or 32 pound paper is even better) and just stick them right into my planner or journal. The heavier the paper, the less chance it will tear out of your binder or planner by accident and helps resist bleeding or ghosting from your pens or markers. It helps the page turn easier too.

If you choose to print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paper. I use these here. They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs. If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down. Honestly, the sticker paper is the best way, however. Regardless of the type.

Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers? Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did a year and a half ago. They have different plans, but the one I’m in (the most pages) is that I can print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $9.99 per month. You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things. Click on the image here to check it out! –>

Doodle Challenge for April 2019 -Easter and Spring!

April 2019 Doodle Challenge

I’m playing catch up today getting my groups and blogs ready for April. Wow, where did the month of March go??  Well I was pretty distracted with my husband in the hospital again, but it still seemed to fly by.

This month is the most important time of year for a Christian. The holiday some call Easter and some call Resurrection Day.  Either way, in the life of a believer in Jesus, it’s all about celebrating the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.  No other “religious” leader has been resurrected from the dead to live forever more to intercede at the right hand of God for those who trust Him for salvation and eternal life.

That’s what this month’s doodle is about, of course!

Doodle Challenge for March 2019

March 2019 doodling challenge
Ugh, technology is just not cooperating with me lately! 🙂 I’ve been trying to get this uploaded for three days now and am just now able to do so because I tried a different browser. I had to switch from Chrome to Firefox. I’d click on “Add Media” and it would just sit there (not adding media). I uninstalled Chrome and installed a fresh copy and it still did that. I fired up Firefox and it’s working fine. Go figure. I’m so used to Chrome I hate switching, but I may have to at least for blogging :/ ack!

Anyway 🙂 FINALLY here is our monthly Doodle Challenge!

This challenge is participated in by the members of my Facebook group, Christian Planner, Journal, and Craft Fellowship and any of you who would like to join us! You can join us in the group or join along on Instagram.

I went without the “Love” theme for the scripture writing challenge, but for those Valentine’s Day die-hard doodlers, I thought I’d keep the theme for our doodles 🙂

Doodle Challenge for October 2018

Doodle Challenge October 2018 Theme Harvest
This month’s doodle challenge theme is Harvest.  Perfect theme for October, right? 🙂 Gets us in the mood for all those harvest/fall activities.  I avoid “Halloween” items like witches and vampires as this is a Christian-based blog and those are themes of darkness. But there are a LOT of  Fall and Harvest things to celebrate!  The Lord gives us so much to be thankful for its enough for us to celebrate 🙂

Doodle Challenge for September 2018

September 2018 Doodle Challenge

So I asked the members of my Facebook group what they would like to have as the theme for the doodle challenge for September and the answer that got the most “likes” was Heaven. I thought, ‘Oh boy, am I going to be able to get together 30 things to doodle about Heaven?’  Then I decided to open up the book of Revelation and the ideas started jumping out at me.  Here is the result of that Book storm 🙂
