May 2022 Scripture Writing Plan -Preparing and Stewardship

May 2022 scripture writing plan headerHello everyone 🙂

It’s time for a new month of scripture writing and I offer you here the list for May.

My attention has been on preparing as well as I’m able to for any worse food shortages, and I know others who are as well.  Future shortages have been in the news lately.  Check out this article by the CEO of Goya foods for example.  Also remarks by the United States Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen here.  An article about why the shortages here, and discussions of all the many food processing plants experiencing fires, planes crashing into them, and here too.  Arsonists/terrorists are also targeting the plants that many preppers purchase from such as this fire at the Azure Standard Headquarters.  There are many other articles I could share, but these are enough to make the hair on the back of our necks stand up!

This is a great video by a Christian for those who disagree to consider as well as those who are concerned to be encouraged to continue.

I also know those who counter us saying they aren’t concerned and that God will provide.  I agree that He will provide absolutely, but the Word of God is full of examples where the Lord exhorts His people to store up for difficult times ahead.  So I did some digging and while doing so, I thought it was a perfect time to apply what I learned to the scripture writing plan for May.  My favorite passage about preparing is the first one on the list.

I hope you all will take the difficulties of these last days seriously and get busy stocking up and learning all you can about it, as I’ve been doing.  The Lord may call us up in the Rapture any day, but we should be prepared till then AND be encouraged that whatever we have prepared will be left behind for those who have been left behind.  It can help them survive the Tribulation period and have sustenance while they consider salvation through Christ.  It can help nourish the Tribulation saints!

I usually print these out on 28 pound white paper (or 32 pound paper is even better) and just stick them right into my planner or journal. The heavier the paper, the less chance it will tear out of your binder or planner by accident and helps resist bleeding or ghosting from your pens or markers. It helps the page turn easier too.

For planner stickers, etc:  If you choose to print these out on full-size (letter) sticker paper. I use these here. They’re priced great and you can write on them easily. They are good enough quality for my needs. If you want a top-quality sticker paper look for these or clear vinyl ones here. (Though not all pens or markers will write well on the clear ones). If you don’t want to use sticker paper, you can print them on card stock or regular printer paper and glue them down. Honestly, the sticker paper is the most economical  way, however for everyday planning stickers. Regardless of the type.

Going through a lot of ink printing out planner stickers? Do like I did and enlist in the HP Instant Ink program! I’ve saved so much money on ink since I did several years ago. They have different plans, but the one I’m in is the plan that lets me print up to 300 pages worth of ink for just over $11 per month. That’s regardless of the amount of ink on the page.  I love printing out pictures on photo paper.  I fit 4 4×6-inch photos on one sheet of photo paper.  Imagine the amount of photos you can print at four pages per one page and the cost is the same for a full page of photo ink as it is for one dot.  It goes by the page, not the amount of ink!  You can choose lesser pages for a lower rate, but I do a lot of printing between coupons, planner stickers and other things.
